Fundraising FAQs

Can I collect cash and checks for my fundraiser?
Yes, you can collect cash and write us a personal check for the funds. Please provide us with the donor’s name, address, and contact information for acknowledgement purposes. **Please note that donors who provide you cash gifts that you then write a check for are not eligible to receive a tax receipt** You can also ask them to make a check out to The Seeing Eye and mail that to us on their behalf. The Seeing Eye will provide you with envelopes to give your friends and family to make donations or you can have them mail checks to: The Seeing Eye Gran Fondo, PO Box 375, Morristown, NJ 07963

Will I get credit for donations that I collect via cash and check?
Yes, you can log in to your personal fundraising page and add these as offline donations to ensure that you receive credit. All donations will be verified before fundraising prizes are delivered.

Can someone sponsor my entire team instead of me as an individual?
Yes, there is a team fundraising option. Please keep in mind that team donations will not count towards individual fundraising amounts.

What is the fundraising deadline for the 2017 Gran Fondo?
All donations must be received by September 30, 2017 to be eligible for the 2017 fundraising totals.

Merchandise FAQs

I ordered or earned Seeing Eye Gran Fondo merchandise, how will you get that to me?
If you are coming to the event, you may pick it up at check-in. If you are unable to attend the event, we will mail your merchandise after the event.

Are there Seeing Eye Gran Fondo cycling jerseys available for purchase?
Yes, there are limited quantities of jerseys available for purchase. Please contact Tracy Crimmins at (973) 539-4425 x 1751 or tcrimmins@seeingeye.org for more information.

Volunteering FAQs

Can I volunteer at The Seeing Eye Rest Stop?
Yes, volunteers are needed at The Seeing Eye Rest Stop in Gladstone, NJ from 6:30 am to noon the day of the event (Sunday, September 10, 2017). I am a puppy raiser. Can I bring my puppy to greet the riders at the rest stop?
Yes, since this is not a race, the riders like to stop and meet the puppies. All puppies must be at least 16 weeks in order to attend. Please use the above link to register.
